A mammoth $35 million development is underway near North Lakes, and come 2024, it’ll be home to a grand new pub to enjoy a bev and a bite at. Dakabin Hotel is set to occupy 3.76 hectares of land on the corner of Alma and Old Gympie Road, alongside a planned $15 shopping precinct.
From the team behind Sandstone Point Hotel and Eatons Hill Hotel, the Comiskey Group’s newest hospitality venture is slated to feature an onsite restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a sports bar, gaming room, kid’s play area with an indoor basketball and plenty more.
The shopping centre, on the other hand, comes with fast food and fuel tenants such as Guzman Y Gomez, KFC, Zarraffa’s and a NightOwl service station. So the development won’t only be a choice dining destination for the Moreton Bay and wider community, but also a convenient grab-and-go spot.
With the Dakabin development’s location being on a main road, opposite Woolworths, locals will soon be able to hit the pub, stock up on groceries and fill the petrol tank, all in one stop.
Dakabin Hotel is due for completion in mid to late 2024. For more information, head to the Comiskey Group website.
