Viral crispy chicken joint Pappa Flock is opening its first-ever Queensland store in Chermside this Saturday, August 16. This could not be better news for all chicken lovers out there, unless they were giving it away for free— oh wait, they are!
For one morning only, Pappa Flock is giving away vouchers for a free TikTok-famous Flock Box — which includes three juicy classic or spicy chicken tenders, seasoned chips, buttery toast, signature sauce and a drink — to every single person in line by 12pm, all set to great tunes with a DJ. The vouchers will be redeemable at any of their locations for two weeks, so it could easily be a miracle hangover cure on Sunday!
This new restaurant will mark the Aussie chain’s 10th and biggest location so far, with handcrafted sandwiches, loaded wraps and their iconic house-made lemonade — for which 2,500 lemons are hand-squeezed daily at each store — in addition to their crunchy chicken tenders.
As Head Chef Eddie Cofie explains, “We’re dedicated to on-site preparation, from hand-breading every single free-range chicken tender with our unique spice blend to squeezing over 2,500 lemons daily for our famous lemonade. This commitment to fresh, hands-on quality is what makes the Pappa Flock difference, and we can’t wait for our Queensland Flockers to taste it.”
This highly-anticipated opening comes after months of Queenslanders asking them to bring their cluckin’ good chicken to our state. “Our TikTok and Instagram have been flooded with comments and DMs begging us to come to Queensland,” said Rachel Korbel, Chief Marketing Officer at Pappa Flock. “The wait is finally over, and we’re so excited to be here.”
