It’s that time of the year again when we’re blessed with seas of green for the annual St Patrick’s Day festivities. This Thursday, March 17, Brisbane’s number one Irish pub, Finn McCool’s is taking over Brunswick Street Mall in the Valley for a grand street festival to celebrate our mates from Ireland (with plenty of Guinness of course).
From 10am, head down for free entry to the event. Start by grabbing a pint from one of the pop-up bars lining the street to set yourself up for a huge day of live entertainment across two stages: from traditional Irish dancers to bagpipe bands, including The Gathering, Tartan Shamrock, Limerick, Sasta, QIPB, and more. Finn’s have ordered 20 kegs of Guinness just for the celebrations too, just quietly.
The celebrations will take place at both Brunswick Street Mall and inside the Irish pub itself on Brunswick Street, so you can get the best of both worlds.
In terms of food, you can tuck into heartwarming Irish favourites such as beef and Guinness Pie, fish and chips, Sunday roast, or True Irish Stew.
So come down and get into the Irish spirit with the best St Paddy’s Day celebrations in town.
