The Palais Garnier Airbnb stay will take place for one night only, on Sunday July 16, 2023.
Palais Garnier Airbnb Stay
Based on Gaston Leroux’s Le Fantôme de l’Opéra, the Phantom musical is Broadway’s longest-running show. If luck is on your side and you secure a booking, you’ll whisk yourself away to France, and gaze in wonder at the Palais Garnier opera house.
Walk through the halls and take a tour of the hidden areas in the Palais, including areas rarely seen by the public, such as the Opera’s private archives and the famous underground lake. Soak in picturesque views of the Paris skyline, while on a tour of the private dance studios.
You will also experience a private ballet initiation with one of the Opera de Paris ballet dancers. Then, enjoy an exclusive recital performed by artists of the Paris Opera Academy, while you indulge in champagne and hors d’oeuvres.
Your dinner will take place in the Foyer de la Danse, a private and historic dancing rehearsal room backstage.
When it’s time for bed, you will sleep in the Box of Honour, an opera box that’s normally reserved for visiting dignitaries. The space has been transformed into a luxurious room that you won’t want to leave.
“My great-grandfather’s classic story has inspired so many people through the years,” said Véronique Leroux, great-granddaughter of the French novelist. “This is the perfect time to honour him and welcome ‘phans’ to the famous setting of his much-loved novel for a once-in-a-lifetime stay.”
