On a hot day during summer, sometimes we don’t want to leave the inside air conditioning until the sun goes down. Naturally, this makes outdoor dining best around sunset, when the temperature drops a little. And where better to spend golden hour than a winery, surrounded by lush vines? Sirromet Winery is launching a new event to celebrate summer in style, premium drops and charcuterie included.
Twilight in the Vines will kick off on December 30 and will run from 5.30pm to 7.30pm every Saturday and Sunday for the rest of summer.
For $85 per person, you’ll get to share a delicious platter filled with locally sourced charcuterie such as Jersey brie, cold cuts, marinated mussels, Moreton Bay bugs, prawns, fruit and a sourdough baguette, alongside a bottle of wine per two people.
You can choose between a selection of Sirromet’s premium wines for your summer soiree in the vines, including sparkling cuvee, pinot grigio, vermentino, rosé and nebbiolo.
The picturesque vineyard provides a romantic setting, with festoon lights set up through the vines and cushioned seating at crate tables, Perfect for a balmy date night or a sundowner with friends.
Sirromet Winery is just a 30-minute drive from the Brisbane CBD, too, so you don’t have to travel that far to get a winery experience near the city.
