A new night market has recently popped up in town, lighting up the southside three nights a week. Alien Night Market is a culinary adventure of Asian cuisine, as well as a choice spot for live music, interactive games, and Instagrammable backdrops.
You can find Alien Night Market on Kingston Road in Underwood, right beside Area 51, which is Australia’s largest indoor play centre.
Open in the evening from Friday to Sunday every week, this neon-lit space is home to 40-plus food vendors, where you’ll find everything from wagyu skewers and wraps to banh mi, hot dogs, fairy floss lemonade, milk tea, bubble waffles, and more.
While eating dinner, you can gaze at the massive “UFO screen” displaying an array of visuals as well as themed live performances on stage throughout the night.
In addition to the stalls, there is also a game contest area where you can compete with your pals for fun, with prizes to be won. Choose from exciting games such as Catch Fast, Get Buzzed, Hit Me, and Ring Toss.
Alien Night Market is perfect for a night out with the family and friends, where you can mix epic eats with fun and entertainment after dark.
