From the legends behind super fun Brisbane experiences such as Hijinx Hotel, Holey Moley and B. Lucky & Sons comes an exciting new arcade venture. After closing its Toombul venue due to the 2022 floods, Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq is finally back in Brisbane.
Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq doubles as both a circus-themed arcade and bar – which means you can pair a session of games with a feed and a cocktail.
The dazzling new space on King Street features plenty of old-school arcade games such as Mario Kart, Hungry Hungry Hippo and Connect 4 Hoops, as well as ten-pin bowling lanes, karaoke, virtual reality experiences, party rooms and more. In other words, something for everyone in the family or friend group, and more than enough activities for an enjoyable time.
Head to the bar for a Pop Till You Drop cocktail, mixed with Fireball, butterscotch, apple juice, maple popcorn, bitters and whipped cream. Or if you’d prefer a boozy shake, the Candy Stand is a strawberry number loaded with white rum and Frangelico, rimmed with vanilla candy frosting and a giant lollipop, then topped with whipped cream and sprinkles.
If the food offering is anything like the Toombul venue, we can expect everything from burgers and pizzas to an array of comfort-food sides.
Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq is now open at 30 King St, Bowen Hills.
To celebrate the launch, Archie Brothers is throwing an 80s-themed street party on September 16, with plenty of dance competitions, roller skating and DJs spinning nostalgic tunes.
