Since opening their first Aussie brewery in Murarrie a few years back, Scottish beer brand BrewDog has become a powerhouse in the city’s craft beer scene. What, with their punk-inspired brews and riverfront tap house covered in street art. Now, BrewDog has expanded to its second Brisbane outpost: a three-level venue in Fortitude Valley.
BrewDog’s new journey has them taking over the Tranberg House building on Brunswick Street. The heritage-listed site is situated across the road from Valley Metro, making it a perfect location for a bev and a feed.
Excitingly, the Valley venue features a bar, beer hall as well as a function space on the top floor. The bottom floor bar is set to accommodate up to 100 people at a time and the beer hall 200. Choose from 20 taps pouring house-made brews and a selection of other local beers. There will also be a selection of Australian wines on offer as well as spirits from independent distillers.
As for food, you can expect pub-style meals such as burgers, pizza, sides, and tacos.
It’s great to see that BrewDog is expanding in Brisbane. Especially on a weekend, their Murarrie brewery is known to become extremely busy, so soon, BrewDog fans will be able to enjoy the much-loved beer at two local locations.
