Candlelight Orchestra Tribute to Iconic Movie Soundtracks
Bathed in the warm glow of a sea of candles, Brisbane City Hall sets the enchanting scene for this gorgeous live music tribute to famous film scores. These legendary scores offer a chance to relive the nostalgia and magic of cinematic masterpieces, and to help bring the soundtracks to life, the Candlelight Orchestra will be conducted by Graeme Press — a professional Australian music director, arranger and conductor.
This season, prepare to be transported to the heart of timeless movie moments, from detective sagas to sweeping wartime romances and animated adventures on the Savannah. Over the course of 65 mesmerising minutes, you’ll discover alien worlds, sail the seven seas and explore the grand Colosseum of Ancient Rome all while sitting back amid thousands of flickering candles.
This spectacular Candlelight tribute takes place at Brisbane City Hall this season. The Candlelight Orchestra will be working their magic on famous film scores while thousands of candles light up this beautiful venue. Whether you’re a self-proclaimed cinephile or a classical music aficionado, this magical experience is set to be one to remember.
There will be two phenomenal performances on the evening, one at 6pm and another at 8:30pm. Doors open 60 minutes prior to the concert start time and late entry is not permitted, so we recommend getting to the venue with some time to spare.
