Customs House’s winter-themed bar is coming back to Queen Street, river and Story Bridge views included.
The igloo bar is made up of several spacious igloos, which are decked out with a heater and furnished with comfy chairs covered in gorgeous furry blankets for you to snuggle up to.
They will also have heaps of fantastic Australian, New Zealand and Italian wines. If you’re in the mood for a cocktail there’s one that sounds particularly delicious named Berries & Bubbles, mixed up with lemon juice, raspberry and Belvedere Pure, then topped up with Veuve Clicquot champagne.
Then there’s the food. On the Clicquot Chalet Bar menu will be Moreton Bay bug croissants with lime and dill mayo, whole baked brie, wagyu beef tartare, plus loads of cheeses from Britain, Australia, and Italy.
An igloo for 4 – 10 people will cost you $65 per person, which includes a glass of Veuve Clicquot, Moreton Bay bug croissant, arancini, duck liver parfait, and baked brie.
It’ll be open Tuesday to Sunday from May 14 for the winter season.
