Cirque du Soleil has dazzled in the past with previous shows like LUZIA and CRYSTAL. And soon, they will return with an exciting production known as ‘Corteo’. This show, which means ‘cortege’ in Italian, depicts a joyous procession imagined by a clown.
The show first premiered in Montreal in 2005, and has visited over 60 cities in 19 countries. Corteo by Cirque du Soleil is doing an Australian tour later this year, and you can see it for yourself in Brisbane at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre from September 18 to 21 and September 25 to 28.

Follow the clown Mauro has he imagines that his own funeral will take place in a carnival atmosphere, watched over by caring angels. Dive into a world of fun, comedy and spontaneity, set in a mysterious space between heaven and earth.
Throughout the show, you can expect acrobatic feats, aerial performances, juggling, hula hoops, Cyr wheels and much more. The music is performed by a live band of eight musicians.
This production was also the first Cirque du Soleil show to offer an immersive stage experience. The rotating stage is divided in two, so that one half of the audience is always facing the other half.
