Back by popular demand, Custom House’s lovely Whispering Angle Rosé Garden will have you on cloud nine, and it promises to be more enchanting than ever! Starting Tuesday, September 16, the stunning terrace is transforming into a breathtaking floral wonderland.
If you’re a pink lover, and soaking up stunning river views is your ideal way to spend an afternoon, this waterside pop-up is a must.
But it’s not form over substance! The gorgeous seasonal makeover, with its exuberant green domes, flowing pastel fabric and pops of pink also comes with delicious, theme-appropriate drinks in the same beautiful hue, think Château d’Esclans Whispering Angel Rosé, Moët & Chandon, or berry-hued cocktails! There’s also al fresco seating with seasonal seafood bites as fresh as any rose.
Under the colourful florals and greenery, you can sip from any of their specialty drinks or explore a range of Australian, New Zealand, and French wines, which pair perfectly with a carefully curated menu of share plates, including the legendary Moreton Bay bug croissant, freshly shucked oysters, and other gourmet bites, or something more filling, like their mac ‘n’ cheese.
Or, if you’re after something more refined and delicate, you can step inside a dome for the Rosé High Tea! Feel like royalty as you sip on Moët & Chandon Impérial Rosé or Whispering Angel Rosé while enjoying a French-inspired selection of savoury canapés, freshly baked scones, and fancy petit fours. Practical info
The Whispering Angel Rosé Garden will be available from Tuesday, September 16. The High Tea will be offered Tuesdays to Thursdays, and the Garden Bar will be open Fridays to Saturdays.
There are four domes available to have a bougie evening with friends, family, or that special someone. Large domes seat six to ten guests, while small domes accommodate four to six.
A $25 per person pre-authorisation secures a your dome, with a minimum booking of four and a maximum of ten guests.
High Tea is $105 per person and ideal for groups of two to six, with each session running for 1.5 hours.
