Queensland is set to make history, as Mackay proudly becomes the first Australian location to host Disney: The Exhibition – A Century of Magic, a global blockbuster experience that has captivated audiences across Philadelphia, Munich, London, Chicago, Kansas City, Seoul, Paris, and Madrid!
The landmark event brings a behind-the-scenes look at some beloved stories as well as one-of-a-kind artifacts and costumes from the Walt Disney Archives to Australian audiences for the first time ever.
The immersive experience celebrates 100 years of Disney storytelling and innovation featuring more than 120 props, costumes, and works of art from throughout The Walt Disney Company, as well as interactive galleries and curated displays that transport visitors into the heart of Disney’s legacy.

The Walt Disney Archives is opening its vault of treasures, showcasing hundreds of extraordinary objects, including many of Disney’s “Crown Jewels” – a huge variety of artifacts and incredible memorabilia.
With eight imaginatively themed galleries showcasing renowned classics from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to Encanto, as well as Pixar, Star Wars, and MARVEL, the exhibition has something for every Disney lover out there.

Disney: The Exhibition – A Century of Magic will take place from Friday, December 4 until Tuesday, May 4 May 2027.

There are two designated carparks on on Alfred Street and on Macalister Street, as well as ample street parking.
The easiest way to get to Mackay from Brisbane is to fly, and it takes around 1.5 hours. On the other hand, you could make a road trip out of it, and drive the 10 or so hours if you’re feeling adventurous!
