Whether it’s a preference for a healthier lifestyle, due to the high cost of living, or a combination of these and other factors, younger generations consume less alcohol and frequent nightclubs less often than previous generations.
But this is not to say we have moved on from partying altogether! Raves are being reinvented all over the world, adapting what’s best about nightlife to non-traditional spaces such as museums or, even better, coffee shops!
The allure of partying in a venue normally reserved for other types of activities is a big part of the success of this new type of rave, but so is the possibility of finding new ways to combine varied interests, such as electronic music, visual art, and specialty coffee and tea.
Eager for all the fun with none of the hangover? Don’t worry, although many of these are pop-ups, we got the info you need to make sure you don’t miss out!
