Drake set off on his Anita Max Win Tour at the beginning of this month and lit up the Brisbane Entertainment Centre stage for two nights, and was set to do so again on March 4, before cancelling the rest of his Australian shows.
This was the rapper’s first visit Down Under since 2017, and it came at a time when Drizzy’s profile is maybe higher than ever, thanks to his beef with Kendrick Lamar and the latter’s performance of chart-topping hit Not Like Us at this year’s Super Bowl.
In a statement, Drake’s representative said the cancellation was due to a “scheduling conflict” — in fact, the two Auckland shows had already been pushed back from this coming weekend to mid-March. The shows affected, aside from Brisbane, are Sydney on March 7 and two shows in Auckland on March 15 and 16, the last for performances of the Oceania tour.
There seems to be a possibility of rescheduling or refunding so ticket holders are advised to hold onto them. Just in case the shows are rescheduled, read on to find out more about the Anita Max Win Tour.

PartyNextDoor, Drake’s supporting act
The first artist to be signed to sign with Drake’s record label OVO Sound, making him an obvious choice for supporting act. Fresh off his release of collaborative album, Some Sexy Songs 4 U, recorded with Drake, the Canadian singer has been complementing Drake’s tour with his distinct vocals, sax riffs and raw lyrics.
