Ed Sheeran has announced his highly anticipated return to Australia for his ‘+ – = ÷ x Tour (pronounced the Mathematics tour). The Grammy-award winning star will be heading down under in February and March of next year with shows scheduled for Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
Sheeran’s last tour in 2018 broke records for being the highest selling tour in history (previously held by Dire Straits’), selling over a million tickets across Australia and New Zealand. He returned to Melbourne last year to attend the public memorial service for music tycoon Michael Gudinski. His song ‘Visiting Hours’ is dedicated to his late friend.
The British superstar will perform his biggest career-best hits including chartbusters from his latest album, =. He will be taking over some of the most iconic stadiums across the country including the Melbourne Cricket Ground and Optus Stadium where you can groove to hit tracks like ‘Shiver’, ‘Bad Habits’ and more.
Tickets go on general sale Wednesday, March 23 with a pre-sale set to go live on Monday, March 21.
