Jazz lovers and francophiles, rejoice! C’est Bon is introducing a new dining ritual that’ll have your mouth watering and your ears happy: L’Entrecôte Jazz Soirée. This experience, created around steak, bottomless frites, and live jazz, was inspired by the enduring simplicity of Parisian brasseries.
The concept pays homage to the iconic Le Relais de Venise, a legendary restaurant that has been around since 1959 and built its reputation on perfecting a single dish: steak frites, served without fuss nor compromise. Its timeless appeal lies in that balance of precision and comfort, a ritual that’s been repeated at French tables for years on end.
That same spirit is brought to life with a refined Australian touch. Chef Andy Ashby will be serving up Wagyu entrecôte with condiments, bottomless pomme frites finished with café de Paris sauce and Salad de Champagne.

And although that’s the classic menu, if steak isn’t your thing, you can also upgrade and replace the Wagyu with a half lobster with béarnaise sauce. Either way, the format is meant to be ritualistic, with a streamlined and deliberate menu that celebrates repetition, precision and generosity. The focus is not on choice, but on execution.
Add to that the sound of live jazz filling the dining room throughout the evening, creating a brasserie atmosphere that feels transportive yet intimate, and you get the perfect romantic midweek dinner.
If that’s not meaty enough for you, you can extend the experience with optional menu additions available, including freshy shucked oysters, served natural or with seaweed mignonette, warm baguette with soubise butter, tableside fromage cart, and flambéed crêpes suzette for dessert!
