Haunted character waiting in the shadows

Enter if you dare and enter at your own risk because Evilcorp has resurrected and this time they’re back with a subterranean maze full of horrors and haunts that will test your nerves and strike fear into even the bravest among us. And it’s permanent as well, so you’ve got time to work up the strength to face your fears and see if you have what it takes to make it out alive.

Located in Fortitude Valley in a heritage-listed building, small groups enter into the maze knowing full well that chills await. What they’ll find, or rather what will find them, inside in the dark and in the shadows are some truly terrifying characters. From ghosts and ghouls to zombies and mummies as well as madmen with axes, there’s a fright lurking around the corner.

The characters are played by pretty top-notch actors complete in costume and gory makeup whose sole intent is to scare the bejesus out of you. Your goal, aside from making it out with breath still in your body, is to reach the themed bar at the end. But all you have to help you and light your way is a torch. Just hope it doesn’t flicker because then you’ll really be in the dark.

Evilcorp’s Horror Maze is restricted to people 16 years and older (those under 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult) because it really is that scary. There’s a reason why haunted houses and attractions are some of Brisbane’s best and why booking in advance is recommended. Even still, tickets are available at the door until sold out

Open only on Saturday nights, there are two spooky sessions which you can attend at 7pm or 8:30pm. Tickets cost $35.

Evilcorp’s Horror Maze can be found at 220 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley
