After a sold-out season in London, the award-winning Fiddler on the Roof is doing an Australian tour. The revival will kick off in Sydney, before continuing on to Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth. It will play at the Glasshouse Theatre at QPAC in Brisbane.

Fiddler on the Roof
This classic and beloved musical is set in 1905, in the tiny village of Anatevka, where Tevya lives his life by proud traditions. For his five daughters, this means a visit from the matchmaker. But, as each daughter challenges his beliefs, Tevye must decide if he should hold on to his roots, or embrace the unfamiliar, changing world.
Listen to your favourite tunes from the show, including If I Were A Rich Man, Tradition, Matchmaker and Sunrise, Sunset.

This critically-acclaimed show was brought to life by director Jordan Fein, whose contemporary vision and inventive staging made it one of the most talked-about events of the year in the West End. It had a sold-out run at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre in 2024, then transferred to the Barbican Theatre, where it smashed box office records. After that, it toured across the UK and Ireland. It won three Olivier Awards, including Best Musical Revival.
“This incredible production immediately blew me away,” said producer Howard Panter. “I’m delighted – with our partners – to bring this masterpiece to Australian audiences for what will be one of the major cultural highlights of the year.”
