Curated by The Market Folk, so you know it’s going to be good.
Since its unveiling late last year, Fish Lane’s Town Square has become Brisbane’s newest site for cultural events and performances. The combined lifestyle, retail and dining precinct is now an urban park with 3000 plants greening up the area with lighting projections, artist interventions and public seating beneath the rail bridge also livening up the space.
This weekend, though, Fish Lane is being taken over by The Market Folk for an artisan market featuring an array of independent local makers and designers. Keen to find out what will be propped up on tables and hung from racks? Just keep scrolling.

A visit to Fish Lane Markets would not be complete without a wander around and gander at the constantly evolving space sporting a massive number of new murals. There are also the many surrounding eateries you can pop into for a spot of lunch or if you’re on the go, a quick coffee break at Cups on Melbourne or a pit-stop by The Paladar will set you right.
Kicking off from 10am to 2pm, the first installment of the Fish Lane Market will take place on Sunday 11 April with a second edition planned for 6 June.
