Perched up on the 21st storey of The Emporium, the Terrace is one of Brisbane’s most spectacular rooftop bars.
Boasting 180-degree views of the city and views all the way out to Moreton Island as well as a stunning thirteen-metre white onyx bar, the Terrace is already seventh heaven. But to further entice Brisbanites to leave the city behind and take a seat among the clouds, the Terrace launched 21 Sundays.
The weekly event features live music, $15 small plates and a rotating cocktail menu so you and your crew can end the weekend in style. (Or, have a sweet Sunday sesh because Sundays are the best days.)
On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, The Terrace is walk-ins only (unless you’re a hotel guest) so you won’t be able to ensure a spot up in the clouds. However, it’s not the only time South Bank’s first rooftop bar is open. The Terrace is open for all-inclusive breakfasts for early birds (it opens at 7am) as well as casual lunches all week long. They’ve even got a kid’s menu.
Cocktails with views is where it’s at, though, and this winter the rooftop oasis has compiled a tidy winter-warming cocktail list for you to enjoy no matter the weather. With a bespoke retractable ceiling and operable glass roof, bask in subtropical luxe all year round as you soak in the unrivalled views across South Bank Parklands, the Brisbane River and beyond.
21 Sundays at The Terrace takes place between 3-6pm every Sunday.
