Deagon might just have one of the best kept secrets around: the perfect café to transport you into the most famous sitcom of all time! Friends and Flowers, nestled on the corner of Adams Street is an inviting, family-owned nook that offers unique Perks along its excellent brews: it’s Friends themed!
Started thanks to owners Max and Mina’s passion for coffee, Friends, and community, Friends and Flowers is a cosy space, where you can settle into a warm atmosphere and take in all the thoughtful second-hand décor, details and callbacks to the show — they even have Monica’s door! — as you sip on tea or a strong brew by Merlo coffee, on one of their comfy and charmingly mismatched couches.

The café doesn’t just often the Friends-liest vibes around, but also a surprisingly full — for a small-ish place — menu, which was recently revamped and now includes some heavenly focaccia toasties, fresh açai bowls, and creative signature dishes such as Loaded Cheesy Hash Mash and the Stack It & Smack It, which consists of toasted sourdough, relish, smashed avo, grilled mushrooms, scrambled eggs and hollandaise. Could that BE any more delicious?!
Since its opening only a couple of years ago, the café has quickly become a meeting point for the community, hosting events, extending their opening days and hours due to popular demand and even launching their very own gift cards, for that Rachel in your life who would exchange any gift you gave them. They also have an outdoor area where furry friends — dogs, not monkeys! — are welcome.
