If you love all things craft beer, you’ll be spoilt for choice at this awesome festival in Brisbane. GABS Festival, A.K.A The Great Australasian Beer SpecTAPular, is back to bring together the best breweries from Australia and New Zealand.
It’s a place where tasting paddles become the new buffet. Where you can treat your palate to a huge selection of brews from local and interstate brands, all the while enjoying some epic eats and live entertainment.
GABS Festival will pop up at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre in South Bank on Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15.
First and foremost, the cornerstone attraction at GABS would have to be the festival beers that are specially-brewed for the event.
Grab a tasting paddle and choose from 500 taps pouring frothy creations inspired by breakfast treats, savoury snacks, delicious desserts, classic cocktails and more.
In previous years, we’ve seen flavoured brews such as lavender cheesecake, bubble tea, cinnamon pastry, Tim Tam, peanut butter, blueberry marshmallow, cotton candy and Biscoff ice cream.
This year, we’ve got S’mores and Rocky Road-inspired brews, as well as a basil and peppercorn spaghetti-inspired beer, and more.
Although, if you’re not a beer drinker, then not to worry. There will be something for everyone at GABS Festival, including plenty of wines and whiskeys.
You won’t just be filling up on bevvies either. You can expect a tasty selection of street food, as well as silent disco, band performances, games and more.
Your ticket will also include a souvenir GABS Festival Glass and a guide to all the beer-tasting notes.

Please drink responsibly.
