You don’t need to go all the way to the North Pole to spend a magical day at Santa’s Village: Queensland has its very own version of it at Granite Belt Christmas Farm!
Started by the Fraser family as a way to get a side income, this Christmas tree farm and boutique shop near Stanthorpe keeps the yuletide cheer going year-round and is an absolute must for all Christmas lovers!
This cheerful farm offers the chance PYO Christmas tree annually once harvest season starts — this year on Thursday, November 27 — and make beautiful family memories while you’re at it! You can roam the fields and choose the tree that most speaks to you, or grab a pre-cut 5ft to 10ft pine to bring the season’s joy into your home!

Once you’ve got your tree, you’ll want to deck the halls, of course. Well, you’re in the right place! Granite Belt Christmas Farm has two Christmas stores, with over 20,000 decorations on offer, showcasing the very best of the silly season all over the world!
The Mistletoe Store is a true yuletide explosion, with aisle upon aisle of decorations, ornaments and vintage collectibles. And, although we love our summery Chrissies, there are plenty of White Christmas themed items imported from America that’ll transport you to a winter wonderland!
If you’re looking for something truly special, that shines as brightly as the star atop the tree, their new Silver Bells Boutique offers timeless elegance and exquisite craftsmanship. Created and curated with collectors in mind, the shop offers an exceptional selection of premium Christmas decorations from world-renowned brands, as well as festive fragrances that capture the essence of the season.
Once you’ve shopped ’til you dropped, refuel at Mrs Claus Café, which is open year-round but switches its menu from October to December for an extra bit of magic to include a holiday-inspired lunch menu that’ll have you counting the days until December 25! Plus, save room for a visit to Rudolph’s ice cream bar or for one of their absolutely decadent Belgian hot choccies, and don’t forget to BYO beer or wine!
Little ones can meet and feed Santa’s animals, and even meet the legend himself from 10am to 1pm every Saturday and Sunday starting on November 15 and until December 21. There’s heaps of other seasonal fun to be had including family photos, crafts and story time, and PYO strawberries!
