The Brisbane Showgrounds are getting ready to host the Royal Queensland Awards (RQA)’s Grape Grazing by Night this July, and you’ll be able to sample some of Australia’s best wines, as rated by professionals and connoisseurs.
On Friday, July 11, indulge in trophy winners from the Royal Queensland Wine Awards, paired with amazing, drool-worthy food prepared by the Brisbane Showgrounds’ world-class chefs — think cheese boards, antipasto treats, slow cooked lamb, rich desserts and even a bao bar — all while celebrating produce awarded gold, silver or bronze medals in the RNA’s prestigious RQA competitions.
The wine won’t be the only thing that’s smooth: attendees at this year’s event will also be treated to live jazz while sipping and tasting the night away thanks to the Jazz Music Institute. And, there will even be something for beer lovers, as Slipstream Brewing Co., who have just been awarded Champion Awards at the Royal Queensland Beer Awards, will be serving their delicious hop-forward brew.
RNA Chief Executive Brendan Christou celebrated the excellence of Grape Grazing by Night saying, “Guests can sample their way through aisles of Australia’s best wines, talk to wine experts and enjoy fabulous award-winning food and live jazz music.”
Tickets to Grape Grazing by Night are fully inclusive, covering wine tasting and a smorgasbord of cheese, antipasto, beef, lamb and dessert. Get yours here!
