Surfers Paradise’s newest hotspot is also its coldest. After the success of a venue in Melbourne, which became the only of its kind in Australia, IceBar has now headed up north, where it’s arguably needed most.
This frozen bar is made entirely out of ice, featuring a range of cocktails, mocktails and shots served in glasses made of ice.
Since the temperature inside the bar sits at a chilly -10C, you’ll get a snow cape, glove and boots upon arrival to help you feel toasty. While inside, you can enjoy a drink, check out the striking hand-carved ice sculptures, play air hockey from an ice table, and take some fun photos.
Each session will last 45 minutes, which might just be enough time exposed to the sub-zero environment.
You can find IceBar Surfers at 3113 Surfers Paradise Boulevard, Surfers Paradise.
