Jetstar has entered into a new partnership with Brisbane Airport, bringing with it some exciting news for international travel. The low-budget airline is slinging half a million low fares between Brisbane and various international destinations, including Tokyo, and there are also new direct flight routes to look forward to.
As part of the new deal, Jetstar is set to roll out three new direct flight routes from Brisbane, starting with Tokyo on October 31, followed by Osaka and Seoul in February 2024.
With it soon being quicker to fly to these destinations with Jetstar, the airline is also offering up sale fares to Tokyo from $299, to Osaka from $279, and $289 to Seoul.
Once the Tokyo direct flight route opens from Brisbane, however, Jetstar will stop running its Gold Coast to Tokyo route as a result.
In addition to the new flight routes and its sale fares, Jetstar will also add more frequent services between Brisbane and Bali as well as Brisbane to Auckland.
“This is the biggest injection of low fare seats for Queenslanders, and visitors from our most popular markets, that we have ever seen,” said Brisbane Airport CEO, Mr de Graaff.
So if you were thinking of jetting off overseas to a budget-friendly destination this year or next, this could be your chance to snag a cheap fare from Brisbane.
