Inspired by Banjo Patterson’s poem, Mulga Bill’s will be no less lively than it’s namesake and is gearing up to reinvent the culinary wheel with its takeaway coffees, pastries and Mediterranean-inspired cuisine starting this Friday, February 14 from 6am!
The new venue is a new venture from Tassis Group, which currently operate local favourites including Massimo Restaurant and Bar, Yamas and OPA Bar + Mezze, so you know you’ll be in good hands.
Located at the Landing Plaza, where the new Kangaroo Point Bridge meets the entry of the Botanic Gardens on Alice Street, Mulga Bill’s is the first of two dining venues to open on the bridge. The café will cater to everyone from early birds to night owls, opening every day from 6am until late, offering delicious food and stunning views throughout the whole day.
In the mornings they’ll be pedalling highlights such as açai bowls and their signature brekky pizza, and later in the day, you’ll be able to indulge on paella and seafood tapas, plus a drinks menu that you won’t want to miss, with everything from mimosas, wine and beer to mocktails and smoothies. Diners will want to keep an eye out for the “Pizza Power Hour“, when they’ll be able to enjoy a woodfired pizza for only $20, every day from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.
With Kangaroo Point Bridge already exceeding expectations, with more than 315,000 people crossing it in its first month of life, Mulga Bill’s is bound to become a business and leisure destination, thanks to its inviting interiors and casual, welcoming vibe.
