Now in its tenth year running, Negroni Week is returning to Brisbane for another round in September, this time taking over Fish Lane, one of our favourite foodie spots.
Get ready for a whole week of Negroni-inspired fun from September 12 – 18, presented by none other than Campari. Negroni Week is partnering with some of Brisbane’s best bars and restaurants, so you might just find your next favourite tipple among the specials list.
Iconic local venues involved in the celebrations this year include Billykart West End, Bar Brutus, Chu the Phat, Hello Please, Julius Pizzeria, Kiki, La Lune, and Maeve Wine Bar, as well as Southside and Saccharomyce.
You can expect to find everything from a cherry ripe Negroni at the Bar Brutus pop-up to kingfish ceviche with a Negroni gel from La Lune.
Tantalise your taste buds further with a casserole-style Negroni duck dish from Saccharomyces as well as a dessert Negroni from Billykart, served with blood orange sorbet.
From 4pm on Friday, September 16 and Saturday, September 17, get weekend-ready with the free Negroni block party, run by the Bar Brutus team. Here, you can expect a little taste of Italy (without the long-haul flight, of course!)
Other events to look out for is the Fish Lane ‘Secret Handshake’ Negroni Trail and Aperitivo Afternoon on Sunday, September 18.
