Developed in partnership with NASA’s George C. Marshall Space Flight Center and the US Space and Rocket Center, Neighbourhood Earth offers an in-depth look into space exploration and beyond with models of iconic spacecraft, family-friendly hands-on activities, a full-size replica of a section of the International Space Station (perfect for some space selfies!), and more.
The interactive exhibition—designed to delight families, students and little future astronauts alike—explores the solar system and our place in it, the journeys we’ve embarked on and what’s next on our missions of discovery. Tickets are now on sale!
At Neighbourhood Earth, visitors can leave Earth behind and explore the planets in the Panoramic space cinema experience. The dazzling drawcard of the exhibition allows guests to take a virtual tour of our solar system and travel tour of our cosmic neighbours thanks to the exhibition’s multi-screen cinema. From the raging Venus to the lonely Pluto, take a voyage to each of the planets in our solar system and witness their beauty and majesty up close.
Aspiring astronauts in your family will have a blast, with plenty of hands-on, educational activities to spark everyone’s curiosity and imagination.
Discover museum-quality astronaut suits and artifacts courtesy of the US Space and Rocket Center, learn interesting facts about the planets with hologram technology, learn about the effects of gravity on other planets, build and launch your own rocket, and step into a full-size replica of a section of the International Space Station and take a selfie in space.
This exhibition will be open from Saturday 5 November and is fun for the whole family. Located on the lower ground floor of QueensPlaza, the experience is the easiest space journey you will be able to embark on and one that any aspiring astronaut or stargazer should not miss. Ticket prices begin at $15.
