You may have heard of (or dined at) Patina at Customs House, the contemporary riverside restaurant that offers spectacular views of Story Bridge and beyond. Now, the team behind this Brisbane favourite is opening up a sister venue in St. Lucia, set on the lush University Of Queensland campus. Introducing Patina at Alumni Court.
Opening on February 21, this 90-seat restaurant will provide a unique dining experience, both indoor and outdoor. The exquisite menu is inspired by paddock to plate thinking, just like the original venue. It showcases fresh seasonal produce, including local seafood and meats sourced near Brisbane. Think Mooloolaba king prawn, witlof and pickled white grape, ora king salmon tartare with Tasmanian wasabi, smoked soy, avocado, nashi, finger lime and coriander, as well as South Burnett pork belly with smoked parsnip.
To satisfy your sweet tooth, Patina at Alumni Court is serving up decadent desserts such as house-made espresso martini souffle. Or why not book in for a high tea and get your fix 0f bite-sized delights?
In the drinks department, you’ll be spoilt for choice with a selection of known and loved Rieslings, Rosés, and Champagnes, alongside a range of elegant cocktails mixed up from craft spirits.
You can find Patina at Alumni Court @ University Dr, St Lucia. Book a table here.
