Spring is upon us and our need for colour and flavour is blooming! Luckily, the Terrace at Emporium Hotel South Bank has exploded into a playful floral wonderland until October 20.
Step into a garden-inspired rooftop, where where vibrant blooms and seasonal flair set the scene for the celebratory vibe of spring. The bubbliness of the season takes on a whole new dimension thanks to their collaboration with French Champagne house Perrier-Jouët, whose zingy, floral flavour will have you feeling like you’re sitting on a bed of roses. With unmatched scenic views of the river, the Flower Market is an urban oasis that’ll make the city feel miles away.
All throughout the season, the Market will complement its regular offerings with some exclusive treats, including spring-themed cocktails like the Spring Apothecary — a tropical mix of rum, pineapple, amaretto, Frangelico, pandan syrup and orange blossom — and the Crimson Petal, which is a refreshing gin-based drink with cherry liqueur, Husk Botanic, fernet, rosella syrup and lime.
And that’s not to mention their deliciously balanced dishes that celebrate the best of seasonal produce and make the most of the playful theme, such as the Spring Garden with young vegetables, carrot hummus and falafel crumb soil, or the Stuffed Zucchini Flowers with Asian-style pork and beef filling, beetroot, and pea and pumpkin purée. Each dish comes with a glass of Perrier-Jouët Champagne. Plus, every day from 4pm to 5pm, you can get a bottle for only $100!
The joy of spring bursts out every Friday and Saturday night at the rooftop, with live DJ sets that carry the atmosphere seamlessly from golden hour to dance fever, creating the soundtrack to Brisbane’s most stylish spring nights, against the most stunning, flowery backdrop.
Best of all, the bar functions like a true flower market, and you can purchase and liven up your home with your favourite blooms every day! Make your reservations to dine, drink and blossom here.
