Pick your own strawberries and try homemade ice cream at these stunning farms near Brisbane

Just under an hour’s drive from Brisbane, Rolin Farm’s charming store is open every year from June to October offering everything from freshly packed strawberries and strawberry goodies like ice-cream and jam to coffee, desserts and even their own honey and is well worth a visit!

But, if what you’re looking for is picking your own strawberries, their season usually runs from mid-August to September! We recommend keeping an eye on their Facebook in case of any updates.

From September to October, you can get your hand-picking fix at picturesque Oasis Berries. Not only can you choose your own juicy strawberries, but also you can also enjoy a decadent ice cream, cupcakes, or chocolate strawberries. As long as you’re taking the 50-minute drive to the farm, you may want to make a day of it, and participate in their famous Hippo Scavenger Hunt!

From August to November, family-owned Chambers Flat Strawberry Farm opens its gates so you can PYO! A pleasant, 40-minute drive from the CBD, their shop opens in June, so you don’t have to wait until August to get your hands on their juicy strawberries, beautiful bouquets or mind-melting handmade strawberry ice cream!

Jarvis Fresh Strawberry Farm has been supplying ripe and juicy strawberries to Brisbane families for over 40 years!  Along with their fresh strawberries, they also sell a wide selection of other fresh fruits and flowers.

Strawberry View Coffee Shack is still a must for all strawberry and coffee lovers! Load up on all sorts of strawberry goodies at this cosy spot, from ice cream to milkshakes, cakes, and even strawberry waffles! There’s even a kids playground on site, so the little ones can run off the sugar rush.
