Start the month of April with some Easter-themed fun at the Portside Wharf Easter Market. Popping up on the northside for one day only, this family-friendly market will be loaded with things to do for the little ones.
You’ll want to get there early on Sunday, April 2 as the first 50 market attendees can redeem free ice cream from Roll It Ice Cream Co.
Once the sugar high hits, the kids can enjoy even more treats with a free Easter egg hunt, followed by an egg decorating workshop. Not to mention a special appearance by the Easter bunny.
McDonald’s Travelling Pet Farm will also be on-site, so you can meet and feed adorable furry friends.
Browse from the thirty-five-plus stallholders at the market, selling everything from beauty and handmade jewellery to ceramic, art pieces, homewares, and plants.
You can grab a feed from the food trucks while you’re there too, perhaps under an umbrella while you let the live music soundtrack your morning.
The market is also pet-friendly, so you won’t have to leave your pooch at home if you don’t want to.
