Brisbane’s most wagtastic pup party is coming to Portside to celebrate National Dog Day!
Bring your furry friend(s) along for a dog walk, connecting with other owners while your pups soak up some riverside fun, and then join the paw-some celebrations at the Wharf.
Once your four-legged babies are nice and riled up, let unwind them unwind at Brisbane’s biggest puppy bash! Every dog will be in heaven thanks to a play pen filled with balls, which will allow their humans to enjoy free coffee from the ‘Paw-ffee Cart’, and treat their pals to a puppacino once they’ve worn themselves out.
The whole morning will be set to live music, and there will be 50 goodie bags valued at more than $150 up for grabs! Gift bags will be filled with limited-edition puppy toys, treats, gift vouchers and more from amazing brands including Happy Hounds, Outback Tails, K9 Feline Natural, Pic’s Peanut Butter, SuperVets Hendra, Studio Pilates, Rise Bakery and Beyond Dental.
And the celebration goes beyond the party, because from August 29, the whole Portside precinct will have ‘Portside Paws’ stickers at the entrance of all restaurants and shops, indicating whether dogs are allowed inside and outside or just outside. Water bowls for pups will also be placed around the precinct to ensure the furriest visitors remain hydrated when out and about.
Practical information
Portside Wharf’s Puppy Party will take place on Saturday, August 29.
The dog walk starts at 8am, and starts next to Bella Deli, strolling along the stunning waterfront and looping back. It should take around 45 minutes.

The party itself goes from 9am to 11am and is free to attend, but it’s first in best dressed for freebies and giveaways, so we advise getting there early!
