Calling all plant-based pals and curious foodies. Queensland Vegan Markets is arriving at Portside Wharf for the first time ever this Saturday, June 11, with over 30 stalls selling awesome cruelty-free goodies, including some seriously delicious eats.
The market is free entry and will run from 9am – 2pm. In that time, you’ll be able to browse, shop, eat, drink, and become awe-struck at how good vegan food has actually become. These days, it’s far from just a plain salad or vegetables.
At the Queensland Vegan Markets, you can expect to find an array of mouthwatering vegan bites, everything from custard-filled croissants and loaded katsu “chick’n” fries to bao, burgers, pizza, and more. In other words, it’s set to be a plant-based party in your mouth.
Once you’ve grabbed your food, head down and enjoy some live tunes from local acoustic musician Nathan Ferguson, who will kick off your afternoon, or soothe you into a food coma. Either one.
The market is pet-friendly too, so you won’t have to leave your pooch at home if you don’t want to.
Portside is dotted with award-winning venues too that’ll be open on the day too. We’re talking Byblos Bar and Restaurant, Sono, Bamboo
Basket, Mr & Mrs Jones, Belvedere Bar & Grill, Ginga Sushi, and Burrito Bar.
