Ice-cold beers, Italian-inspired cocktails and all the tennis action.
For the end of summer, and just in time for the Australian Open, Riverbar & Kitchen are hosting a Peroni pop-up bar, extending their outdoor plaza and throwing in a big screen TV so that you can soak up the sun and tennis action without ever leaving Brisbane.
And to top it off, Riverbar & Kitchen are taking inspiration from the Amalfi coast and filling the space with more umbrellas, stylish bar carts and all the Italian decor you need to imagine you’re truly on holiday. It’s time to kick back in the sunshine and sip drinks well into the evening as if you’ve got no worries in the world.
If ice-cold Peroni beers aren’t to your liking, then it’s time to move onto the cocktail list which includes the Venetian Twist served with Belvedere vodka, Aperol, grapefruit, passionfruit and yuzu. There’s also the Pirlo Spritz Campari (Campari, Prosecco, Soda), the Negroni Sbagliato (Martini Rosso, Campari, Prosecco), the Off Court Spritz (Martini Ambrato, Amaro Montenegro, Chandon Rosé) and the Peroni Spritz (Aperol, Lemonade, Orange, Peroni). To share, grab the Peroni Punch which serves four.

Unlike the cocktail list, the food menu is quite short but what it lacks in offerings it makes up for in flavour. Tuck into the kingfish ceviche, mushroom arancini, or Prosciutto, melon, tomato, bocconcini skewers that pairs perfectly with a draught-poured Peroni.
Riverbar & Kitchen’s pop-up Peroni bar is already in action; however, the extended outdoor plaza opens on 1 February and big screen TV is being hooked up on 8 February.
Bookings can be made online to save your spot by the river and in the sun. And to save you from missing out on the true-blue Aussie summer of tennis.
