In anticipation of their third album If That Makes Sense to be released this May, acclaimed indie rock band Spacey Jane have blessed their fans not just with a brand new song, How To Kill Houseplants, but with the announcement of their biggest ever tour in Australia and New Zealand.
The band will be playing 20 shows all over the country — two of them in Brisbane! — after the record drops on May 9, joined by singer-songwriter Phoebe Go and indie pop band The Moving Stills.
Following the lead single All the Noise, released earlier this year, How To Kill Houseplants explores an ailing relationship and the struggle to repair it, something that most people who have been in a relationship, or who have desperately tried to keep their dying plant babies alive, can relate to.
The song sees Spacey Jane leaning into their honest, heart-wrenching lyrics, pairing them with equally melancholy music.
