Brisbane’s ultimate destination for mouth-watering Asian food, Sunnybank Plaza and Sunny Park are hosting the free food event for the 12th time: the Sunnybank Food Trail!
What to expect
A one-day journey through the flavours of Asia, this free community even features a spectacular line-up of restaurants and vendors across the precinct, with iconic and beloved local favourites serving up tasting plates of their signature dishes, so you get to try everything!

We haven’t even gotten to the best part yet: every dish is priced between $5 and just $2! So food lovers of all ages and of every background can enjoy everything that Asian cuisines — including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, and more — have to offer. Think sizzling skewers, dumplings, bubble tea, BBQ pork buns, and other delicious classics.
And the food is not all! You can expect stunning lion dances as well, not to mention kids’ zones to really make it a family-friendly outing! There will also be a chance to win an exciting holiday thanks to EVA Air, so keep an eye out for further details on that.

Can’t make it? Sunnybank also offers regular food tours! For $68, you can take a three-hour journey through the hugely diverse neighbourhood with tour guide and professional chef Tony Ching, who will show you the best places to eat and shop for fresh Asian food, as well as the history and culture behind the cuisine.
Whether you choose the lunch tour from 10am to 1:30pm or the dinner tour from 4pm to 7pm, you’ll end the day with a sumptuous meal at one of Sunnybank’s amazing restaurants, and you’ll get to take a bag of goodies home!
