It’s been nothing but Good Days for SZA fans in Australia. Fresh off her triple-Grammy win earlier this week, the American singer-songwriter has announced that she is bringing her S.O.S. tour to Australia and New Zealand. SZA will kick off her tour in Australia in Brisbane on Friday April 19, and end with a performance in Melbourne on Tuesday April 30.
SZA – S.O.S. tour in Australia
In 2017, SZA’s label debut album, Ctrl, soared to number 1 on Billboard’s R&B Albums chart, and number 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. In December 2022, she released her album, SOS, which debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. It stayed in that top spot for ten non-consecutive weeks, and earned her nine Grammy nominations. She won for Best R&B Song, Best Progressive R&B Album and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
Closer to home, SZA has done well in Australia, with three tracks hitting the Hottest 100 of 2023. Her song Nobody Gets Me came in at number 75, Snooze at number 70 and finally, Kill Bill at number 13, leading to her highest placement on the Hottest 100 so far.
