Tangalooma Island Resort has unveiled Australia’s first year-round beachfront cabana club, Tangalooma Dunes Cabana Club, which is set to transform the already-iconic Moreton Island destination into an absolute must-visit.
Perched on the golden sands of Tangalooma Beach, Tangalooma Dunes offers a front-row seat to one of Australia’s most spectacular coastal escapes, and its elegant design only elevates and highlights the beach’s natural beauty. Featuring 20 private cabanas available for day hire, the cabana club will deliver en effortless beachfront experience ideal for relaxing, reconnecting, and soaking up the sunshine!
Each architecturally designed cabana comes fully equipped for a perfect beach day, and features seating for up to 6 to 8 people, a central table and fridge for food and drinks, adjustable shutters and fan, and wheelchair accessibility for some of them.
Known for its unbeatable location on the western side of Moreton Island, Tangalooma Island Resort doesn’t just offer pristine beaches, but also a wide range of activities, including unique wildlife experiences such as dolphin feeding, snorkelling shipwrecks, quad biking, and more. Practical information
The Tangalooma Dunes Cabana Club will be available to book for visiting Carnival Cruise Line shipguests from Saturday, August 1.
The cabanas will be open for individual bookings starting in spring 2026.
