Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour tickets broke records with unprecedented demand when they went on sale in June but if you were one of those who spent hours in front of the computer looking at the blue line at the Ticketek Lounge going nowhere, you’re finally going to get one last shot at nabbing some tickets. A fresh batch of tickets for the giant stadium tour is dropping for all seven shows in both Sydney and Melbourne this Friday with some obstructed-view tickets that will start at $79.90. Here’s everything you need to know.
When are new tickets for the Eras Tour released in Australia?
Tickets will go on sale from Friday, November 10 at 10am for Sydney and 4pm for Melbourne. Tickets will be available to purchase via the Ticketek website until allocations are exhausted. Costs will range from AU$79-$379. The Cruel Summer singer will perform a stacked 3-hour, 44-song setlist with Sabrina Carpenter as the supporting act in both cities.
Even better, Ticket has also announced an official ticket resale service will begin on Friday, November 24.
How does the Ticketek system work?
Surprisingly, Ticketek doesn’t actually have a queuing system and the selection of who gets tickets is completely random to ensure everyone has a fair chance at getting tickets. This means someone entering the lounge 2 hours after you has an equal chance of being selected to purchase tickets. In other words, it’s down to just luck.
However, there are some things you can do to ensure your best chances of getting some tickets. This includes creating a Tiketek account in advance and never refreshing the browser. Find the best tips to score your tickets to the Eras tour and best seats here.
