Update: The recent rains in Brisbane and south-east Queensland have broken records that have been held for decades. Flooding has been widespread and, unfortunately, it has affected many families, businesses and venues around the city. This includes the Toombul Shopping Centre, the venue of The Chocolate Factory Experience here in Brisbane, which has been forced to close.
Fever is awaiting reports from the venue owner as to the extent of the damage to the shopping centre before making any announcements. Watch this space.

The Chocolate Factory is a sweet-filled paradise plucked straight from the sugar-fuelled imagination of a child. One moment you will be Hansel and Gretel wandering among giant gingerbread houses, then you will be diving into a fluorescent ball pit, hiding behind jumbo cupcakes, before flying on a sugar-high in Cloudland.
This is all before making your way onto The Chocolate Factory floor. There you will be able to tuck into some of the delicious sweets, lollies and sugary treats you’ve seen along the way—think lollipops, chocolates, gummy bears and more. You’ll also get to learn how chocolate is made from your Chocolate Factory host.
You’ll want to have your camera at the ready if you’re keen on sprinkling your social media feed with an extra dose of sweetness because kaleidoscopic and captivating photo opportunities abound in every room. There are interactive games too, which you’ll be able to play for a chance to earn ingredients for a special treat. And don’t forget to have a bounce on the cupcake trampoline either in the free-roam area.
The Chocolate Factory has already taken London and Madrid by storm, and Brisbane is next in line to experience this unique wonderland of delectable delights. It’s open now at Toombul Shopping Centre.
