With summer just around the corner, beach trips will be back on the regular, especially on those days when swimming is a must. La Luna has just opened up on the Gold Coast, taking weekends by the water to a new level of luxury.
Being the first floating beach club of its kind in the country, La Luna comes to the coast with its white, blue and pastel hues – akin to a summer holiday in Mykonos.
Soak up the sun on a daybed, sip mango cognac mango iced teas inside a cabana, take a dip in the pool, overlook the sparkling Marina Mirage, and repeat. Sounds like a day done just right.
The poolside food offering includes plenty of eats inspired by the sea, whether it be slurping back fresh South Australian oysters or biting into yellowfin tuna tartare, caviar, fried baby squid, Moreton Bay bug buns, or kingfish ceviche.
If you’re not a fan of seafood, you can also choose between a selection of char grilled beef, salads, and pasta. Vegan and gluten-free options also appear on the menu, such as a watermelon steak served with a spring onion herb salad.
As for tipples, you’ll find a range of beverage choices on the menu, from cocktails to beer and wine.
La Luna is a treat-yourself type of venue, with bookings essential and a minimum spend of $150 per person to visit.
