Brisbane Harry Potter fans have been lucky to have one of Australia’s biggest Harry Potter stores right on their doorstep for a few years now. The Store of Requirement bills itself as having the largest collection of licensed Harry Potter merchandise in the country. And it goes to show – it’s full of everything from wands and clothing to butterbeer.
Just in time for the school holidays, The Store of Requirement is set to run some fun workshops for fans. So dust off your robes and head to the store to make your own potions and decorate a wand to take home.
The potion workshops will run over the school holiday period, from Monday, September 19 until Friday, September 30.
Your potions master will teach you how to mix and bottle up the perfect concoction, using top-notch ingredients from the Wizarding World.
You’ll then be able to take your brew home for safe keeping and to help manifest your wishes. Just make sure they’re only good wizard wishes, though.
The wand-decorating classes on the other hand are on now until the end of September. Get crafty to make your very own customised wand to keep.
The Store of Requirement also runs a series of interactive Wizarding World games, from an owl escape adventure to a school supply challenge.
