Celebrating the special bond between dogs and humans, the film festival is set to tour the country starting this August with a variety of heartwarming and adorable films on the program. The Top Dog Film Festival has previously featured everything from a dog-powered sports flick to dogs on jetskis, dogs out on a hike and more.

The 2026 program includes a number of films that promise to move audiences from laughter to tears with tales of clever concierge canines and loyal companions who transform lives. Watch dedicated individuals working to improve the lives of our four-legged friends, and prepare to have your heart stolen by some incredibly clever canines.
This year’s program is a 2+ hour cinematic celebration featuring a carefully curated collection of short films from independent filmmakers worldwide, capturing the joy, loyalty, and unconditional love that make dogs our most treasured companions. The all-inclusive and family-friendly event invites everyone who owns, loves or hopes to own a dog one day to come together and share their love for pups in a safe and fun space.
