Each year, Tripadvisor awards travellers’ favourite destinations, hotels, restaurants, and things to do around the world, based on reviews and ratings collected from its website. The Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best category reveals the top one per cent out of eight million listings worldwide on Tripadvisor. One Brisbane property was named among the Best of the Best for 2024, and that is Emporium Hotel South Bank.
This luxury boutique hotel took out the number two spot in Australian hotels, named for its rooftop terrace pool with views of Brisbane City, as well as its spa facilities, on-site French patisserie, comfortable and stylish rooms, attentive staff, and more.
The Reef House Adults Retreat in Far North Queensland’s Palm Cove cemented its position as the number one hotel in Australia through these awards, with hotels in Hobart, Melbourne and Orange also appearing in the top 5.
