The photo challenge we never knew we needed.
In need of a perk-up already? Is coffee not quite doing the trick? No fear. Because the #UnflatteringDogPhotoChallenge is taking over social media, and it really does not disappoint.
Taking to Twitter to show off their beloved pooches, dog owners have been challenged to share the most unflattering images they have of their pets, exposing them all of their derpy doggy moments (that they probably only expected to share with their adored owners) – and we’re very grateful for the betrayal. From hilarious action shots to not-so-glam bath times, check out some of the best entries to the challenge below.

Hundreds of entries are flooding Twitter already (making for an endless stream of Monday-appropriate content), just days after the trend appears to have taken off. And trust us when we say, it was a very enjoyable but difficult task compiling our favourites.
