The holidays can be stressful, so there’s no better time than the beginning of the year to pamper yourself so you can actually work on those resolutions! Luckily, The Westin’s making it easy with their Wellness Weekend on Saturday, January 17 and Saturday, January 18.
What to expect
The first day of this healing weekend will be focused on a wellness reset. After the indulgences and rush of the holidays, slowing down and listening to your body is a much-needed pause.
At 8am, you’ll kickstart the journey with a sip and sculpt Pilates session on the pier, led by none other than Phoebe Parsons, known for her uplifting, high-energy teaching style that’ll have you pumped up on endorphins. DJ Simona will bring feel-good beats that’ll only add to the exhilarating vibes of the class. As for the sipping portion of the name, once you’ve worked up a sweat, KAILO Nutrition, renowned for its holistic and luxurious approach to health will be providing their signature Feel Well smoothies, which will replenish and revitalise you. Not to mention, they’re delicious!
Fittingly, the next activity at 11am will be a Nutrition Masterclass with dietitian Torwen Eerkens, who will share her expert insights into sustainably healthy eating habits, gut-friendly diets, and how to develop nourishing habits built to last. With an engaging, approachable style that makes nutrition accessible to everyone, Torwen is not your mother’s nutritionist.
At 12:45pm, HUSTL founder Alexzandra Parviainen, will deliver a grounding, empowering session that links mindful movement with mental wellness techniques. As the head of on of Australia’s most influential fitness and wellness communities, Parviainen is unique equipped to teach powerful tools for resilience and to guide you through a practice designed to reset the nervous system and reconnect mind and body.
Finally, the day will end with a 6pm sound healing session with Carmen Lee-Schneider. She will be leading a deeply restorative sound bath using crystal bowls and vibration to melt your stress away and allow your mind to relax. Afterwards, you’ll be able to enjoy another KAILO smoothie that’ll set you up for the deepest, best sleep of your life.
Start Sunday, a day focused on community, connection and conscious living, at 8am with a soulful yoga and breathwork practice. This calming, mindful class will leave you feeling clarity and a sense of inner ease, perfect for making the most out of the rest of the sessions!
And from 9am, you can get lost browsing the first ever Westin Wellness Market, which will welcome anyone interested in wellness, beauty, food, crafts, and lifestyle creations, created by a stunning line-up of premium local partners and artisans. Some of the brands you can expect include:
- Alom Florals, a contemporary floral artistry brand, known for their earthy and sustainable arrangements.

- Heavenly Spa by Westin, which will offer products and mini rituals inspired by the hotel’s wellbeing services and philosophy.

- OrganicSpa, the Australian skincare brand that elevates daily rituals with luxury organic formulas.
