The spring holidays are coming and there’s no better time to go to the beach! The only thing that could make a beachy day with clear skies and refreshing water more memorable is having someone special to share it with. That’s where everyone’s favourite Heeler comes in: Bluey’s Beach Day is coming to South Bank!
In celebration of the new Streets Bluey Frozen Treat, the free family event will have everyone saying ‘wackadoo!’ Get ready to participate in fun games all weekend, including ring toss, a sandpit adventure hunt and a beach flag relay. And that’s not even the best part, because you will actually get to meet Bluey characters ‘for real life’!
All this excitement will probably leave you needing to cool off and that’s where the new Streets ice cream comes in. Inspired by the show’s much-loved ‘Beach’ episode, the new mixed berry flavoured frozen treat with natural colours is perfect for exactly the kind of low-key, unplanned family moment Bluey is known for celebrating.
After all, national research commissioned by Streets found that 79% of parents would rather their child remember “a lifetime of small, everyday moments together” than one big holiday or trip, and there’s nothing that Bluey does better than that!

As Sharon Wilson, Director of Brands & Licensing at BBC Studios ANZ put it, “Bluey has a special connection with families because it celebrates the small, everyday moments that create lasting memories, whether that’s a trip to the beach, an afternoon in the backyard or simply spending quality time together. We’re delighted to partner with Streets on a collaboration that encourages families to embrace those moments of fun, connection and togetherness,”
The Streets Bluey Frozen Treat is rolling out nationally now, available in convenience stores and select retailers, including Ampol and BP outlets. Multipacks will be available in Coles and Woolworths from late October.
